The Solari Saga Is Far From Over
The Santiago Solari saga seems to be endless. The Argentinean winger was sold to Inter in September as a part of the deal that took Ronaldo to the Merengues, but the Nerazzurri had an option to choose either the player or 10 million Euros.
The Santiago Solari saga seems to be endless. The Argentinean winger was sold to Inter in September as a part of the deal that took Ronaldo to the Merengues, but the Nerazzurri had an option to choose either the player or 10 million Euros.
Rumours from Madrid suggest that Real are willing to release the player, but Inter chairman Massimo Moratti prefers to opt for the money, while coach Hector Cuper would be more than happy to have Solari in his roster. The clubs must find a solution within the end of January.
"I'd like to join Inter," Solari said, "But only if they think that I could be an important addition for the team. I know that Cuper likes me and I must say that an experience in the Serie A is very intriguing for me. Nobody contacted me from Italy, so all I have to do now is wait for a call from Milan. I'm very quiet because I have a contract with Real and I love Madrid."
