Spurs, Roma back in for Real Madrid's Morientes

Tottenham have again been linked with Real Madrid centre-forward Fernando Morientes.

The Spanish international's future is still unclear and has Spurs, Real Zaragoza, AS Roma and Bayern Munich being mentioned as possible suitors.

Morientes' agent, Gines Carvajal, told Calciomercato.com, "The only certainty we have at this moment is that Morientes has three years left on his Real Madrid contract."

"I have a good friendship with (Franco) Baldini, but we have not spoken about Morientes going to Roma."

It's suggested Roma are in talks with Real Madrid about a deal for the powerful striker.
