Spurs, Everton watch as Real Madrid's Guti rejects Spain stay

Real Madrid midfielder Guti has rejected offers from Atletico Madrid and Sevilla.
 
The Spanish international is ready to leave Real, but has ruled out moving to another Primera Liga club. Atletico made contact with Zoran Vekic, Guti's agent, over the weekend but was informed that there was little chance of persuading the midfielder to remain in the capital.

Everton and Tottenham head the queue of clubs battling for Guti, who was also offered last week in a part-swap deal for Arsenal's Patrick Vieira before the Frenchman agreed to join Juventus.
