Spurs Alerted After Savio Declaration

Real Madrid striker Savio has revealed that he is interested in moving to a London based Premiership club.

The news will have alerted Tottenham, who are in the market for a striker or two this summer.

The Brazilian's contract at the Santiago Bernadeu expires at the end of the season and he is certainly going to be shown the door.

The 29-year-old has been on loan at Bordeaux and the French club are keen to keep hold of the player, although a move to England may be in the pipeline.

His agent, Joao Areias, said "There are two English Premiership clubs interested in the player, one is an important London club."

"He would be happy to play in the Premiership and ideally he would prefer to join a London club."
