Spanish tutor: I can't believe I'm giving homework to Real Madrid star Bale

The Spanish language tutor of Real Madrid star Gareth Bale is actually a pro player himself.

Michael Gómez Dobrott, whose mother is from California, has just won promotion to Segunda B with Trival Valderas.

"He’s a good student. He asks me to send him more homework and he’s keen to fit in as quickly as possible," Dobrott told AS.

"At first I couldn’t believe it, I was sending Bale homework! Though from day one I felt really comfortable working with him. He’s very personable, and he even sent me a shirt for my birthday, which was a nice little personal touch.”
