Spanish Press Slam Real Madrid

The Spanish press have not pulled any punches with regards to Real Madrid's poor form and most major sports journals slammed the club following their 3-0 loss to Osasuna on Sunday.

"Galactic ridicule," is what was plastered on the front of 'Sport' newspaper, as they mocked the team's nickname after they were outplayed on Sunday as Madrid's fans whistled and waved white handkerchiefs.

"S.O.S." said Spanish journal 'As,' while El Mundo titled their article "Suicide at the Bernabeu."

"If things are going badly, don't worry, tomorrow they could be worse," wrote Marca's Roberto Palomar who suggested this as the team slogan.

Marca also said: "the symptoms are the same as any team in crisis, but with the multiplying effect...of having five of the best players in the world on the pitch."
