Spanish league season to start August 30-31

Spain's first division season will begin on the weekend of August 30-31 and finish on May 23, the country's league clubs decided on Wednesday.

The full 2003/04 calendar will be finalised on Thursday in a draw carried out by the Spanish Football Federation.
