Spanish hero's Zidane claim

There has been debate as to just which position Zinedine Zidane will play for Real Madrid, but former star Emilio Butragueno says he knows.

"He’ll be the ideal link between the midfield and attack," the Real and Spain legend said of Zidane, who played a defensive midfield role in his last season at Juventus, but seemed to enjoy his more creative role when playing for France.

"He’ll help us score many more goals, I would have liked to play alongside him," said Butragueno, who ended his career at Real playing alongside Mexican Hugo Sanchez and brilliant right winger Michel.

Real can now boast the best, or at least one of the best midfields in the world after their world-record signing.
