Soldado determined to prove worth at Real Madrid

Real Madrid striker Roberto Soldado insists he can still make an impact at the Santiago Bernabeu this season.

Spain international Soldado is yet to play a minute of competitive football for Real coach Bernd Schuster, but says: "My dream always has been to succeed at Real Madrid and I am going to try to do so with all my strength."

"I am happy with the decision of the club of not selling me. I am not going to leave Real Madrid without giving myself the opportunity to succeed here."
