Solari wants Real Madrid release for Lazio move

Lazio are favourites to sign Real Madrid midfielder Santiago Solari in January.

The Argentine's father has reportedly revealed that Lazio trainer Roberto Mancini recently spoke with Solari on the phone and they agreed a four-year contract worth £1 million-a-season.

Solari's representatives, which include his Dad, hope to open talks with Real about gaining a free transfer for the midfielder ahead of the January transfer window.
