Sociedad urge Real Madrid, Spurs to try for Xabi

Real Sociedad have dramatically slashed their asking price for midfielder Xabi Alonso.
The 22 year-old saw a dream move to Real Madrid collapse after Sociedad slapped a £12 million price-tag on his head.

But Madrid are now being invited to try again for Xabi with Sociedad prepared to listen to offers between £6 million and £8 million.

Along with Real Madrid, Tottenham and Liverpool have also been linked with Xabi.
