Shevchenko ready for Man Utd move - agent

The agent of AC Milan striker Andrei Shevchenko says the Ukrainian could be on his way to Manchester United next year.

Oscar Damiani confirmed: "Shevchenko could certainly make a move to Manchester United because he speaks the language."

"He does not appreciate this situation with Milan, as they play with only one striker, and he will make things clear to the club at the end of the season."

Shevchenko has been a long-term target for United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and recently admitted to thinking about a move to England.

"It is only stories from the Italian newspapers," said Shevchenko.

"Last season, I had an opportunity to leave, but I preferred to stay at Milan."

"Frankly, I have a beautiful life."

"If I really have to leave, I could play at Real, Manchester or Barcelona."

"But, for England, I am not over 30 years old yet!"
