Shevchenko Offered To Real

According to reports in Spain, an agent working on behalf of Andriy Shevchenko has offered the Milan striker to Real Madrid.

Fiorentino Perez apparently received a telephone call from the agent over the weekend asking him if he had any interest in carrying out the deal before Wednesday when Sheva will play against Slovan Liberec and will therefore be cup-tied for the rest of the Champions league.

Perez, though, refused to negotiate because of his club's good relationship with Milan.

Just last week an official statement on the Milan website said that the Ukrainian was not for sale, so it seems a pretty safe bet that he'll be staying at the San Siro for the rest of the season at least.
