Shevchenko And Vieira To Real: Perez Confident

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has announced that he is confident Andriy Shevchenko and Patrick Vieira will be playing for los merengues next season.

Perez has already made three major bids for the Ukrainian striker but Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has rejected them all by asserting the world-class finisher is simply priceless.

But after sealing Luis Figo's move from deadly rivals Barcelona and Zidane's arrival from Turin, Perez will stop at nothing to complete his dream-team in time for the club's centenary.

Alex Nesta is also a target but the priority is Shevchenko who would seem to have a value of around $80-100million. The planned bid for Arsenal's Patrick Vieira has been fuelled by requests from Zidane who believes his international team-mate can give him the platform in midfield to regain his full form in Madrid.
