Seville's Ramos encourages Real Madrid bid

Representatives of Seville defender Sergio Ramos have made Real Madrid aware that the Spanish international wants to join them this summer.

While happy at Seville, Ramos has made it clear to Real Madrid through intermediaries that he'd jump at the chance of moving to the Santiago Bernabeu. The youngster was keen to let Real chiefs know that he is aware of their interest and the feeling is mutual.

Real directors are delighted, but are in no rush to snap up Ramos. They'd like to sign him this summer, but knowing that they're the defender's first choice, will seek to leave the deal as late as possible to drive down Seville's asking price.
