Seville president: I've rejected big Real Madrid, Liverpool offers

Seville president Serafin Roldan has revealed he turned down big offers from Real Madrid and Liverpool for several of his players over the summer.

"I want to make one thing clear," he told AS, "we will never sell our players on the cheap."

"What fans do not know is that we have rejected massive offers for some of our players."

"Real Madrid offered us £2.2 million, plus Ruben and Corrales to sign Calatayud. I also turned down big offers from Liverpool to sell them Miguel Angel. We will not dismantle this team."

"We will not sell any player that we do not have a replacement for."
