Sevilla's Negredo slams Real Madrid for buying Benzema

Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo is bitter over his treatment by Real Madrid.

"I was told that they rated me, but ultimately I did not ever play," snapped Negredo. "That's why I decided to leave."

"They should have trusted me, rather than Karim Benzema."

"They preferred to spend money (35 million euros) and bet on him becoming a star rather than a player from the Castilla."
