Sevilla president: Real Madrid MUST pay Ramos buyout clause

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido insists he won't be selling Sergio Ramos to Real Madrid this season.
 
Ramos revealed on Sunday that contact had been re-established with Real about a late transfer, but Del Nido insisted last night: "I have promised Ramos that we will sell him if an interesting offer arrives."

"But he knows that the only interesting offer will be for his buyout clause (£18 million). For over a month Madrid have known that the only negotiation we will consider is for his clause."

"I have the promise of Real Madrid and their president, and I do not have a reason to doubt him, they would not make an offer for Sergio this season."
