Sevilla President Jose Maria Del Nido: The Madrid Press Will Not Succeed In Unsettling Jesus Navas

Sevilla visit Real Madrid this weekend, and club president Jose Maria Del Nido believes that the transfer rumours linking Jesus Navas to Los Merengues are an unsettling tactic.

Speaking to Marca, Del Nido said, "It is not a coincidence that before an important game, the Madrid press try to unsettle the rival team."

"That is because they understand the importance of the three points. Navas is part of Sevilla."

"He has a contract with Sevilla, and we are nor thinking of selling him. The Madrid press stocks up on news with the sole purpose of breaking the confidence of their rivals."

"But Jesus Navas is prudent, sensible and a magnificent professional."

Del Nido then spoke about the upcoming game in more detail, continuing, "Madrid knows that it will be a tough game."

"We already beat them at home."

"Sevilla can go to the Bernabeu and win the three points."
