Sergio Ramos won't be rushed into Real Madrid contract talks

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos says he is in no rush to discuss new terms.

The Spain international has held talks with the European champions with a view to remain with Los Blancos after June 2017, when his current deal expires.

"We've had meetings to speak about the contract extension but I'm not in a hurry," Ramos told Cadena Ser. "I have two years left on my contract."

"This is something that doesn't bother me at all."

"It depends on the club, not on me. I have a good relationship with club president Florentino Perez and we often speak."

"Thanks to him I achieved a dream which was to join the best club in the world."

"I will be eternally thankful to him for that."
