Sergio Ramos Praises Patient Real Madrid Fans

Sergio Ramos has praised Real Madrid's supporters for remaining patient while the team continue to gel and thinks that against AC Milan they have a chance to shine.

The Spanish international defender recognised that Los Merengues were again not on top form as they overcame Real Valladolid on Saturday evening, but was pleased with the fans.

“We are grateful to Real Madrid fans. We know they are impatient and want to continue seeing us playing well and improving," he was quoted as saying by the club's official website.

"It is obvious that we have many things to improve upon, but it's a matter of remaining calm so that fans continue enjoy watching us."

“It is time to see Real Madrid's true colors against an opponent [Milan] who has won a lot of European Cups and who we really respect."

Real Madrid cannot take anything for granted, Ramos believes, and thinks that several other teams will be involved in the title race.

“We can't become overly confident. There are many good teams, and Sevilla, for example, lost in Riazor. You must always respect every opponent in football," he added.
