Sergio Ramos:Florentino Perez Has Great Plans For Real Madrid

Sergio Ramos has admitted that Florentino Perez has great plans for Real Madrid and that his return would make the fans happy.

The former president made his campaign official this morning at a press conference, where he outlined his plans for the future of Madrid.

Perez, who left Madrid in 2006 after six years in charge, spoke about potential signings, a new coach and also the changes he will make.

Speaking at a charity golf event today, Ramos declared that with regards to any new signings "anyone who wants can come".

"Florentino was a great president and he will make the fans very happy. He has great plans for Real Madrid," Marca quote him as saying.

Personally, Ramos did not give away too much, saying that "whatever happens will happen" and that "in the dressing room everyone has their own opinion".

He did however respond to comments made this week by Iker Casillas who stated that Real Madrid need to have more Spaniards in the team.

"A Spanish team has to have Spanish players, although that is not to say that there cannot be any foreigners," he mused.

Finally, Ramos spoke about the current situation of the team, saying, "I am happy with the performance of the team and myself personally".
