Sergio Ramos and Florentino Perez set for showdown in China

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and Sergio Ramos will have a formally meeting when the club arrives in China this week, which could determine the face of the Manchester United target.

According to AS, Florentino will meet the club for the Chinese leg of their pre-season summer tour to not only observe how the team is progressing under new manager Rafa Benitez, but to tie up a lose end with want-away defender Sergio Ramos.

Reports continue to link Ramos with a move to Old Trafford, with manager Louis Van Gaal even adding fuel to the fire by eluding to the fact that the transfer for Ramos to Manchester United could already be in process.

Ramos has made clear his desire to leave the club and his silence is deafening as he has refused to come forward and rebuff all of the rumours.

The report goes on to add that Manchester United have made their best and final €60 million and the Real Madrid and Ramos will now meet to discuss where the player’s future lies, with all signs pointing to the departure of the would-be Real Madrid captain.
