Sergio Canales happy to stay and fight for Real Madrid place

Sergio Canales insists he's in no rush to leave Real Madrid.

The midfielder has stated that he is happy at Real and was pleased he was not sent out on loan earlier in the season.

"I'm happy, I'm in Madrid and fighting to get some minutes," he told Marca.

"Playing in teams like this is difficult, the key is to work hard. I have not proven myself yet."
