Sensi Blasts Capello And Announces Lucio Signing

AS Roma chairman Franco Sensi launched a blistering attack against coach Fabio Capello and announced the signing of Bayer Leverkusen defender Lucio, in comments made early Tuesday morning.

"I would make a somersault if Capello joins Real Madrid. Capello is a strange character, he fooled me, when I gave him a two year contract extension and it wasn't the right time. If he intends to stay another year after this season ends, I'll give him 3 million Euros and send him away," sad Sensi.

"If Capello leaves, Mazzone will arrive, I often talk to him," added Sensi.

In the comments made before entering a meeting of the Italian Petrol Union, the volcanic Roma chairman also unexpectedly announced the signing of Bayer Leverkusen's Brazlian defender Lucio.

"I bought Lucio, Mancini, and Dacourt and I have to buy a forward because we don't need Delvecchio. Montella, Totti, and Cassano are staying."

Leverkusen have yet to confirm whether Lucio was sold to the 2001 Serie A Champs.

Later in the day Sensi denied his earlier comments, while Bayer couldn't confirm a deal was made for the sale of Lucio.
