Senderos: Wenger convinced me to choose Arsenal over Real Madrid

Swiss kid Philippe Senderos says Arsene Wenger convinced him to choose Arsenal over Manchester United and Real Madrid.

"I met Arsene Wenger three times and got on well," Senderos told the Daily Mail.

"He didn't make any false promises, he was honest and said 'You are going to have your chance'."

"That is all I can expect. Also it excites me coming to a great city like London, mixing with great players."

"My dad is a Real Madrid fan through his Spanish origins and of course they are a fine club but after visiting and training with Arsenal, I knew they were the right one for me."
