Real Madrid make new attempt to sign Arsenal superstar.

Real Madrid have contacted Arsenal once again in their attempt to sign star attacker Alexis Sanchez, according to reports from the Metro.

Sanchez was heavily linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu recently after a string of incredible performances, scoring eight goals in just five games for club and country.

However, the Gunners are unlikely to let go of their star asset, and only a massive deal can tempt manager Arsene Wenger to let the Chile international leave anytime soon.

Yet, this has not stopped the La Liga giants, with main man Cristiano Ronaldo already turning 31 next year amid constant speculation that he will one day return to Manchester United.

According to Spanish source Don Balon, Real believe that they can offer Sanchez the opportunity to win major trophies, as Arsenal have not won the English top flight since 2004.

But, if the Gunners manage to win the Premier League this season, Real may have to look elsewhere for a new ‘Galactico’.

The 26-year-old made 52 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 25 goals.
