Scolari urges Ronaldinho to snub Man Utd for Spain

Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has urged Ronaldinho to move to Spain.

Scolari said: "I know Ronaldinho has offers to go to Real Madrid, Manchester United and Barcelona but there is no doubt he must go and play in Spain's La Liga."

"If I were the chairman or manager of any of those clubs I'd fight my brother to sign Ronaldinho because that boy is about to become the No1 player in the world."

"But only in Spain can he be certain he will find a better style of football, a better style of life - it is the country which is right for him."

"He is very determined with a winner's mentality and knows now is the time to launch his assault on becoming the greatest footballer in the world." Ronaldino is expected to join Manchester United from Paris Saint Germain this week.
