Schuster wants to keep Real Madrid's De la Red

Bernd Schuster is seeking to block any potential move away from Real Madrid for midfielder Ruben de la Red.

Schuster, who hopes to finalise his move from Getafe this week, rates De la Red highly and wants the 21 year-old as part of his Real squad for the new season.

Newly-promoted Real Murcia and Deportivo La Coruna have both made offers for De la Red since the end of last term.
