Schuster happy with Real Madrid's Metzelder deal

Real Madrid have a deal in place for Borussia Dortmund defender Christophe Metzelder.

The Germany international is moving to Real in the summer on a Bosman and has already agreed terms over a pre-contract. No deal has been signed, but the agreement is locked in following negotiations between Real and Metzelder's agent, Jorg Neubauer.

AS says Real have agreed not to announce the deal until the Bundesliga season finishes in mid-May.

Getafe coach Bernd Schuster, who is expected to replace Fabio Capello at Real in the summer, is aware of Metzelder's signing and has given the deal his approval.
