Schuster: Guti Will Be Back

Bernd Schuster has insisted that Guti will earn his place back in the Real Madrid team and also revealed that he believes Ramon Calderón will continiue to pursue Kaká.

The German coach told Marca about his thoughts on life at the Bernabéu after five months at the helm and looked to dispel any rumours that there were problems with Guti.

After being sent off against Murcia, the Spanish international has not been named in the side and Schuster has had to fend off questions about a punishement being handed out.

"Guti will return to the starting team," Schuster explained.

Following Calderón's statement that bringing in Kaká could upset the balance of the squad, Schuster insisted that the president will not give up on his attempts to land the Brazilian.

"Calderón wil keep trying for Kaká until he signs him," he continued.

Schuster then looked ahead to the New Year and explained that he has just three simple wishes, which are easy to hope for but not so easy to put into practice.

"I want the team to play well, the fans to be entertained and to win at least one trophy," he added.
