Schuster: Arshavin wants to join Barcelona, not Real Madrid

Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has cooled talk of a January move for Zenit St Petersburg star Andrei Arshavin.

Ahead of their Champions League clash in Russia, Schuster said: "I think he said he wanted to play for Barcelona. So it's not an issue."

For his part, Arshavin added: "As far as Barcelona, nothing has changed. The Real Madrid reports are just rumours."
