Schuster: Agent fees wrecked deal for Chelsea's Ballack

Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster says agents fees wrecked a deal for Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack over the summer.

Schuster told AS: "The problem is that his agent earns as much as a footballer - £1 million. That, together with the fact that Ballack joined Chelsea on a Bosman and was their highest paid player, made the transfer impossible."
