Schalke preparing bid for Real Madrid defender Garay

Schalke are planning another raid on Real Madrid for defender Ezequiel Garay.

The Germans already have Raul and former Real striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar as part of their line-up this season.

Garay has emerged as a target as Schalke chiefs have concerns over their leaky defence.

The Germans hope to do business for less than half the €10 million Real paid for him in 2009.
