Schalke boss Di Matteo would welcome arrival of Real Madrid's Khedira

Schalke boss Roberto di Matteo has confirmed interest in Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.

Khedira comes off contract at the end of the season.

“Khedira? We all know he’s a great player. If he wants to come, the door is open."

"He’s a world-class player,” said Di Matteo.
