Saviola: I almost fell out with Xavi over Real Madrid move

Javier Saviola has revealed how he almost fell out with former Barcelona teammate Xavi over his controversial move to Real Madrid.

Saviola joined Real in the summer on a Bosman and said: "Xavi is a huge fan of Barca and very Catalan. He could not understand why I would want to become his rival."

"It was difficult, but in the end he understood that it was a good opportunity for me."
