Sanz: Not much chance for Real Madrid juniors

Former Real Madrid defender Fernando Sanz can't see any way through to the first team for the club's local juniors.

Sanz, now the young president of Malaga, told AS: "I disliked the phrase of 'the Zidanes and Pavones' because it was misleading. The Zidanes would always play and the Pavones would be left out."

"They say the days of 'Zidanes and Pavones' is over. But now they've signed Cannavaro, Van Nistelrooy, Reyes, Diarra and Emerson. With so many signings, I imagine that this season also the local youngsters aren't going to get a look in."
