Santos star Ricardinho "calm" over Real Madrid talk

Santos midfielder Ricardinho says he is "calm" over speculation of a January move to Real Madrid.
 
Ricardinho comes off contract in December and is a favourite of Real coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo. The former Middlesbrough midfielder told Marca: "I am calm. I know what has been written in the press, but I just want to keep a calm head with the national team and Santos."

"I know that I have been linked with Madrid and other teams, but still nothing is determined."

"Santos have made me a new contract offer and I also have proposals from outside Brazil. But I am calm and will consider everything in due course."
