Santos president bans Real Madrid talks until Robinho return

Santos president Marcelo Teixeira is refusing to speak with anyone from Real Madrid over Robinho's transfer.
 
Teixeira won't agree to return to the negotiating table until Robinho ends his self-imposed exile and returns to Santos training.

If Robinho returns to training, negotiations will move very quickly, with sources close to Teixeira telling AS that the player's presence at Santos HQ will immediately see the president accept a £18 million bid from Real.

"Teixeira has refused to receive (agent Juan) Figer and Ribeiro in the last days after both left the offices of Santos following the last Madrid offer of £17 million," said a Santos spokesman.

"The player has said publicly that Teixeira is not a man of his word. But not only he, but his father and his representative also - and that is unforgivable."
