Santos deny January Real Madrid move for Robinho

Santos president Ricardo Teixeira says Robinho will stay with the club until the end of the season.

"I already have read that Robinho has joined five, six clubs of great bearing in Europe. And, lamentably, the press embarked again on that subject. Any negotiation in course does not exist," said the Santos supremo.

Real Madrid are favourites to land the Brazilian winger, who is contracted to Santos until 2008.

Teixeira added: "We will listen to offers. But nothing will be considered until next July. Robinho will stay in our plans until then."
