Santos ace Robinho prefers Real Madrid over Chelsea

Santos dazzler Robinho has indicated he wants a move to Real Madrid over Chelsea.

Both European giants are battling for the Brazilian's signature and Robinho revealed to AS yesterday: "Real Madrid is the best club in the world, everyone knows it."

"It is the club which all players dream of playing for and in that sense I am not different from the rest."

"I would like to play in Europe and I hope the dream can be made a reality someday. I would be very happy to play for Real Madrid, so when I knew that they were interested in me, I was very pleased."

"I hope I can conquer titles in the same form that I conquered titles here."

He added: "For me to play for Real Madrid would be the completion of a dream. In addition, it would delight me to play in Spain because it is a country that is identified more with Brazil. I hope to play Spanish football, if God wants."
