Sanchez tells Real Madrid's Schuster: I want your job!

Mexico coach Hugo Sanchez is delighted Bernd Schuster has been appointed new Real Madrid trainer - but admits he's after the German's job!

The pair are former Real teammates and Sanchez said: "The Spanish Liga moves in cycles, Barca has experienced three good years, we hope that now it is the cycle of Madrid."

"It seems to me pleasant news that Bernardine is the new trainer. He is in the line of coaches who know the place, its ideology and its values, and he, having been part of the club and experienced it, feels these values. It is an appointment which is very correct and I wish him great luck."

"My moment will soon arrive. I will be with Mexico until 2010 and I will wait for my opportunity while following what happens in Madrid."
