Samuel U-turn: I want Chelsea move

AS Roma defender Walter Samuel hasn't ruled out a move to Chelsea.

Samuel is believed to be favouring a switch to Real Madrid over Chelsea, but his priority is to have his future cleared up as quickly as possible.

The Daily Star says Samuel is prepared to move to Chelsea, if they can wrap up talks with Roma over his £17 million transfer quickly.

"Chelsea have made me the best proposal of my life, but Roma must decide my future," Samuel said. "I am a privileged player as Real Madrid and Chelsea want me. What more can I wish for?"

"Juan Veron and Hernan Crespo tell me that I should go to England," he added.
