Sami Khedira expects Real Madrid training return this month

Sami Khedira hopes to return to training at Real Madrid this month.

The Germany international has been missing this season due to serious knee injury.

"It is possible that in two or three weeks I will be back to train with the team. I have a deep inner optimism, but I'm not putting pressure on myself," said Khedira.

"If I don't make the World Cup, I'll be disappointed. But I'll keep fighting, that's all I can do."
