Salgado urges Real Madrid to keep Figo, Guti

Real Madrid fullback Michel Salgado has advised the club to keep hold of winger Luis Figo and midfielder Guti.
 
Salgado believes it would be a mistake for Madrid to lose the pair.

"We have won everything with Figo and Guti and we should never forget that," Salgado said.

"Guti is one of the players with the most quality in the squad, he has been here ever since he was young and he is one of the players with the most ability in Europe."

"Figo meanwhile is one of the best there is in a one-on-one and his departure won't be easy. If he goes we will miss him."

Salgado also thinks that Bayern Munich's Michael Ballack could be wearing white next season.

"After winning the double, he is desperate to come here," Salgado added.
