Salgado slates Real Madrid foreign policy

Real Madrid fullback Michel Salgado has hit out at the club's foreign signing policy.

Before Saturday's home defeat by Barcelona, Salgado said: "Madrid must have a strong group of Spanish players as their base."

"We need that to keep a precise identity."
