Salgado: Real Madrid can forget title if Barcelona win

Real Madrid fullback Michel Salgado says anything but victory against Barcelona this weekend will end their title chances.

"To not beat Barcelona, it would mean saying goodbye to the Liga," said Salgado. "It would be very difficult to take, even if mathematically there was still the chance."

"Nevertheless perhaps, if we win, then winning the Liga is feasible."

"In the game against Athletic Bilbao we lost a unique opportunity. But now they have given us another opportunity to close the gap if we win on Sunday."
