Sacchi: Real Madrid is hell for Capello

Arrigo Sacchi says Fabio Capello faced an "impossible" task to improve Real Madrid this season.

Sacchi, who was general manager for a short time at Real, revealed: "They've asked me several times to coach Real and I answered that it was an impossible mission. For Capello, life in Madrid is hell. I've never been his defender, his teams have not ever given me great emotion in general terms. But for sure, I have great sympathy for him in an atmosphere with little availability and much superficiality and arrogance. You simply can't provide a spectacular game, winning and entertaining people."

On the Real dressing room, Sacchi snapped: "There are rifts and jealousies, small-minded views, groups who prefer to go nightclubbing."

"In order to build a team the quality of player is not only important, but how they get along with eachother is just as crucial."
