Sacchi: Real Madrid doesn't need Keane

Outgoing GM Arrigo Sacchi has told Real Madrid to forget signing released Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane.
 
Sacchi, who is quitting Madrid for personal reasons, believes there is no room for Keane in the Real squad.

"Personally, I don't see it is necessary to sign him or anyone in January," Sacchi said.

"Honestly, with the squad we have I think the best signing would be to believe in ourselves."

"The only change might be if something interesting comes up and we need to cover a position."

"The key factors are our intent, patience, memory and luck. With all these things combined Madrid supporters will be happy."
