Ronaldo warns Beckham of Real Madrid pressure

Ronaldo has warned David Beckham he will be under intense pressure at Real Madrid next season.

The Brazilian said yesterday after training: "Real Madrid have some difficult and demanding fans."

"I've seen that myself all season, and I think Beckham will have it harder than I did. But I hope he will adapt quickly to the club."

Ronaldo also commented on reports that Real players were upset at the timing of Beckham's transfer.

He said: "I don't think we'll be distracted for the last league game which is very important."

"We are very happy that Beckham is coming. He'll be a big help in the future, but we must think about the league at the moment."

"I think Beckham could add a lot to the team, but we'll have to see."
